Battle of Isonzo

The First World War First Battle of Isonzo was fought between Italy and Austria-Hungary between June 23 and July 7 of 1915. The aggressor Italian Army, despite enjoying a 2:1 numerical advantage, produced only modest results in the battle--the first of twelve battles at this front .
